CLASSES
Our regular contemporary class is for adults 16+
Tuesday evening from 6.00pm to 7.30pm during term time (including half term)
Venue:
The Hub Theatre, Open University, Walton Hall, Milton Keynes. MK7 6AA.
Some classes will be in The Sports Pavilion when the Hub is being used for OU business - see schedule.
There is plenty of parking on campus and parking is free.
Our class teachers come from a range of backgrounds and offer a wide variety of techniques. This enables people with varying degrees of dance experience to participate. Classes suit all levels of experience of contemporary dance and are open to all dance enthusiasts aged 16 and over and to younger people studying dance GCSE.
Newcomers are very welcome. First is class free to OU employees and OU students.
Our four day immersive summer workshop programme every August is led by some of the country's leading companies and dancers.

When we start back for Tuesday class on September 8th, we're starting an exciting project with Flexer & Sandiland & MOTUS. Pease note you are still welcome to come to normal class and join in the process even if you're not available to perform.
Details below:
Participants interested in performing in Flexer & Sandiland’s ‘An Obscure Camera’ should attend class on 8th, 15th and 22nd September, and have daytime availability the weekend of 26-27th September
Timings for each date are:
Tuesday rehearsals:
8th September, 6-7.30pm class with Effie and introduction of movement score
15th September, 6-9pm class and setting of score with Yael Flexer
22nd September, 6-7.30pm class with Effie and rehearsing of movement score
Performance days:
Sat 26th September, 10.30am – 3pm, on site warm up and rehearsal in thecentre:mk, followed by performances
Sun 27th September, 10.30am – 3pm, on site warm up and rehearsal in thecentre:mk, followed by performances

If you are unable to commit to a whole course, you can pay per class at a cost of £7 full rate or £5 concessionary rate
Please note that for insurance purposes attendance of these classes is entirely at your own risk with regard to personal injury and loss of property. The OU is only responsible for the condition of the venue.
